After a 20-minute phone call we set an interview. Both during the call and during the actual interview the hiring manager asked many inappropriate questions, especially about my age. According to her i was too young, she made many unprofessional remarks about the topic and how the rest of the team is older and how i will fit in. This topic took up *at least* 1/3 of the 45 minute interview. She also asked what my parents think, as if I'm a child. On top of that, generally during both the interview and the call she asked many weird questions like "Why did you not travel after you were discharged from the military? I'm trying to understand if you're a serious person like me", I had to clarify at least 4 times that I'm not planning on dropping out of school to go travel. All of this felt completely unprofessional and uncomfortable, I was sure I didn't want the role before the interview even ended.
