Had an initial interview over the phone with a Director in September 2009. Went ok and was called for an in person interview 3 weeks later. Had to follow up 5-6 times with the recruiter to schedule this one.
Interview environment was formal. Some questions were not too specific to the job and got irritating as time passed. Overall the interview did not go too well and I had no hopes of getting the job simply because all the interviewers were from an entirely different background and the questions were all over the place.
A week later, I got an email from the recruiter saying she will inform me of the next steps. Its been over 4 weeks since then. I have followed up with the recruiter via email and phone for about 8-9 times since then and have received ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE.
So I am guessing that they have moved on and I should stop following up :-)

It was a good nun plussed chat but clearly not for me. Too many interviewers who had not prepared. It was fun but going nowhere so I killed It.
Advert was not aligned with interviewers expectation - job sounded senior but founded like they wanted a person to run around.
First met with HR representative and then extensive interview with hiring manager and other team members. Very professional effort to get to know me and to ensure a good fit for the role. They explained the objectives for the position and the requirements for success.
