Solicité el puesto a través de la recomendación de un empleado. El proceso duró 3 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Gojek (Bengaluru) en may 2018
Entrevista
Interview consisted of 5 rounds totally
Round 1: Offline assignment
A problem is sent across and you are asked to solve the problem using the best practices in coding
Round 2: Code pairing
If Round 1 is cleared, you are called to the office and made to pair program with one of the go-jek developers. The pairing would be on an extension to the given problem.
Round 3: Tech Round 1
1) You would be asked in depth about the project you are working on. Mostly on why the chosen design decisions were taken and why a library or a framework is used in the architecture (example- why did you choose rabbitmq? what are the alternatives? and did you really need it..?)
Also about your ideas on how to better the system.
2) Design a payTM
Round 4: Tech Round 2
1) Design Swiggy
2) Algorithms
Round 5: Bar Raiser
This is to check if you fit into the ecosystem of Go-Jek. Mostly questions on your passion, what you expect out of a job etc.
If you clear all the above said rounds, the last one is salary discussion.
I had an amazing experience in Go-Jek, the HRs were quite responsive and open to answering questions anytime during the process.
the whole process was:
screening CV -> online coding test -> technical interview -> pair-programming -> bar raiser (hiring manager interview)
the gap between pair programming and bar raiser interviews could take up to a month. however, the wait was totally worth it as after receiving an offer, i got a chance to join their engineering boot camp.
There should be 4 steps, HR, Technical, EM, and User. But depends on your qualification, you can only meet 3 of them. Mostly discuss in English. There are interaction between you and employer/senior dev. Mostly discussing your skill.

Entrevista
Interviewed in Bangalore. Take home coding assignment, followed by video call review with engineer. Standard onsite process, 1 pair programming, 2 system design rounds. The interviewers expectation during system design isn't very clear compared to system design interviews in FAANG companies. Every interviewer has their own structure in which they drive the interviews.
