I applied as a referred candidate. Multiple former colleagues worked there. Took more than a month for anyone on the recruiting team to reach out after being submitted. First screen went well and firts round with the hiring manager seemed to have gone well too. Interview scheduled for 30min went almost an hour as we had good conversation about the team's operations and what I could deliver. Was supposed to hear back after the weekend but after no feedback for a week, I followed up. At the time I followed up, I had 2 other offers on the table and I disclosed this. No response for 10 days from Github. I definitely did not wait on them... accepted an offer after 2 days with no response. But when they responded, they had the audacity to think I was still waiting on them and they declined to move forward. LOL At the end of the day, good luck to them. They'll need it because if they think the best candidates wait around for a slow and unresponsive recruiting process, they're mistaken.

Entrevista
Many rounds of 1:1 interviews across departments, including culture fit. Interviews very mostly with individuals and vendors you would work with in the role on a day-to-day basis, giving you a real snapshot at how your job responsibilities pan out.
Extremely long interview process, over two and a half months. The process is exhausting and time consuming and involved about six rounds. Everyone was very nice but very little feedback given at the end of the process.
