      Entrevista

      I started my interview process with Fivetran in July. My experience involved five interviews: 1 - Interview with Lead Recruiter The recruiter asked me about my background and skills. It last only about 15 minutes. 2 - Interview with Customer Support Manager The manager asked about my background and skills in more detail. He also asked some behavioural questions relating to the role. This interview lasted for 30 minutes. 3 - Interview with Customer Support Manager and Senior Customer Support Engineer The senior lead this interview with the manager taking notes and offering some inputs. The senior asked more on my background and also about my interests. I think it was to gage what sort of person I am and if I would fit into the team culture. The interview lasted 30 minutes. 4 - Simulation-style Tech Interview with Senior Customer Support Engineer After the last interview, another Senior Customer Support Engineer joined the call and the others left. He presented various tech interview questions and asked me how I would approach the problem. We spoke through each and problem-solved together. He said they wanted to see my style of problem-solving. This interview lasted for one hour. 5 - Interview with Customer Support Engineer The Customer Support Engineer asked me about my background and skills again. She also asked behavioural questions. This interview lasted for 30 minutes. Reflections: - All the interviews felt very relaxed. It was like speaking with friends. Even though there were so many interviews, they didn't feel as draining compared to others that I have done. The members on the Customer Support Engineering team are all very down-to-earth so this definitely comes across in the interview! - There were a lot of questions about working at start-ups. Such as why I want to work at one, what do I know about them, challenges that I think could arise in that sort of environment etc.
