I applied to the position via the career page and less than a week later I was having a 15min chat with a senior director in marketing. It was a brief, candid conversation covering the position and my competency. Later that same day a recruiter reached out to schedule a more in depth 30min conversation. This conversation went deeper into my experience but was a breeze because the recruiter was awesome-more conversation, less integration. The recruiter followed up with a detailed explanation of their on-site interview process and the interview itinerary once an on-site was scheduled for the following week.
The on-site was 3.5 hours with five members of the marketing team and the recruiter. After a quick tour of the office my interview began. It was an awesome experience! Everybody I spoke with was genuine, transparent and honestly answered my questions…And I’m not just saying this to avoid smack talking my future co-workers. They told me when they expected to make a decision and how they would be making that decision.
The week following my on-site interview they background/referenced checked and by Wednesday they offered me the job. The whole process was quick, stress-free and seamless- props to the recruiter Brittany! I was kept in the loop and constantly updated throughout the process.
TIP: It was as much as a culture fit evaluation, as it was a technical fit evaluation. Be yourself and if you’re passionate about what you’re applying to do then that should come across. It’s a great company poised for significant growth, you should be stoked to even be in the building!
