The task required preparing a written document in PDF format describing one of my previous projects, including problem definition, technical solutions, delivery process, and key learnings. Overall, the assignment was fairly straightforward and aligned with typical senior-level experience storytelling. However, I’m not entirely sure what specific evaluation criteria were used, as there was no technical feedback provided afterward. After submission, I received a rejection without any explanation of the decision.

The interview process was exactly as described. I enjoyed working with DuckDuckGo and found they were communicative throughout the process. I know some write about how long the process is. It is, but if it is done right, the work also benefits you in the long run. I also appreciated that they compensated me for the time. It's rare in the industry to have another company recognize your time and effort during the interview process. A company that respects you and is responsive throughout says it all. I stepped out of the interview process towards the end due to accepting another offer, but I hope to cross paths with them again in the future.
