The recruiter was obviously reading from a script with questions that didn't perfectly align with the fact that they approached ME on LinkedIn about the role vs. me finding the role and applying on my own.
The Hiring Manager Zoom meeting setup was poor. The TA Coordinator rescheduled at the last minute (10 minutes before the original scheduled time) due to an initial scheduling oversight. Then, the Coordinator asked me to confirm availability for a specific time on the following day without giving any other options. I pushed back - Employed candidates are working and likely have full schedules just like your Hiring Managers do. Don't act in consideration and favor of just your Hiring Manager!
The behavioral/information screen with the Hiring Manager ended abruptly ended at the 20 minute mark without any niceties or information about next steps.
Professionalism is clearly an issue in HR.
