Entrevista
After the initial resume screen, there are 2 30-minute phone interviews. One will ask resume based questions and be very positive while the other will ask more deeply rooted, self identifying questions, such as "When did you fail in a group and why?" or "What do you consider are your weaknesses?" If you are called back for Round 2, you will be brought into the office at which you will spend your 10-week internship and go through a 4 hour interview blitz. First you will have a behavioral one-on-one interview with a Partner level position. Followed by a personal case study (just you and a practitioner) and a group case study. In the group case, you will be divided by the recruiter into X number of rooms (usually 3-4 per group) and will be given some time to read the case, discuss, and prepare slides on the firm template on the provided computer. You will then present these slides to manager and hirer level individuals in the firm. These people will also be present during your case reading and discussion / preparation to watch your behavior and interactions. While you are reading the case, do not expect them to sit quietly and just watch you read. They will be talking amongst themselves about their daily lives to create distraction to test your ability to focus. When you begin discussing the case, they will quiet down to begin observing you and your communication with your peers. Then you present the powerpoint on the screen and have a 5-10 minute Q&A on your presentation material. Everybody has the right to speak during this, so be prepared to answer questions. At this point you realize you are hungry and it is lunch time. You go back to the room in which you were between each interview, reclaim your belongings, and leave for the day to await an offer.
