I had the interview with HR, Hiring Manager, and Team Member. Each interview went well. I was honest about my skills and limitations when it came to IT security details which I was told was not a problem in my first two interviews, but the interview with the team member solely focused on IT security related questions and nothing to do with the position of GRC (something that I do believe I am an expert in). I also felt like the first two interviews did not focus on governance, risk and compliance as much as I would have expected the interview to be. It was clear that this position was just for their IT security compliance requirements (something that was not outlined in the job description as much) and with very limited focus on governance or risk. Two weeks after the last interview I received a rejection letter. I believe that they had someone else in mind and they were waiting for them to accept the terms and I was a backup. If someone wanted you on their team, they wouldn't wait 2 weeks after the interview to send a rejection email.
