Very unprofessional !!! Through app called elevator interview was scheduled. I’ve selected 11-12 pm slot but no one joined that link and literally wasted 1 and half hour on Saturday. Dropped mail to HR regarding the same , but this should be avoided because it portrays wrong impression .

I got a call from cap-Gemini HR for interview in ITPL location Bangalore on 30 April 2016.
there were many guys came for interview. so interview process went like this.:
Interviewer was from age group around 28-30. and a kind of desperate person.
I : Is this your Resume.?Do you know how to write your resume. you have not written anything about technology.
Me : Is there anything i forgot to mention..? as in technical specs i have mentioned everything.
I : Tell me how your application works.
ME : My application get requests from different resources like web-services/ HTTP-XML/socket.
I : does socket is different from HTTP?
ME : Yes. socket can bind b/w particular port. the same is not applicable for HTTP. if socket is closed is in server you cannot sent request to server.
I : Both are socket only. as per his explanation every network element is HTTP/HTTPS based.and connected to socket.just like email or whatever.
ME: . then why we have different protocols itself . then we can send all info in socket only. as far i know for email we have SMTP / POP3 protocols. and for different JMS providers we are having different protocols.
I : No . listen every such thing is connected to socket only.
I : you have mentioned about bulk system. what your bulk system does.
ME: for bulk application i get bulk files on a particular server location. and that file i takes make it to small chunks and process each and every record and send it to downstream system in XML format.
I: what do you mean by this. as per me this is shell scripting crone job which works in bulk system. and it process everything.
ME: for us traffic is high and if file is not having proper data . then we have to make proper actions for those records.
I: NO. its wrong. tell me how you are making XML.?
ME: i am using x-stream api for creating XML. along with few places i am using DOM and sax parser.
I: which java API i am asking to you.
ME: its x-stream which i am using.
I: there is java-x something API is there which is provided by java. i was asking about that.
ME:stunned.
I: folded my resume.you can leave.
ME: sir can you tell me what was your actual requirement here..?
HE: core java.
I: then i am working from last 4 years. and i have not come across such api. anyways thanks.
This was a bad interviewer which i have seen in my carrier.
for his kind info My resume was a copy of best resume in IT.

instead of getting such bad mentor who is having improper knowledge. better i am happy with my client only.
THIS KIND OF INTERVIEWER IS DEGRADING CAP-GEMINI LEVEL.

Reached Capgemini @ 10.30 a.m. Waited for 3 hours after Registration. They called me for Face to Face Discussion @ 2.30 p.m.Interview was not interested to take interview. The Interviewer did not take Single candidate.
