Solicité el puesto a través de un captador. Acudí a una entrevista en Capgemini (Dallas, TX) en oct 2025
Entrevista
I was approached by a recruiter on LinkedIn who described the role and asked if I was interested. I forwarded my resume and was scheduled for an HR phone interview, which lasted about 15 minutes. After that, HR set up an interview with the team manager (L1), where I was asked basic Java and SQL questions.
The next day, HR called and said wants set up L2. I had the L2 technical round, which focused more deeply on Java and SQL. After L2, HR called to congratulate me and said I had cleared the rounds and an offer letter would be sent soon.
However, HR later mentioned that a VP round was still required. The VP round focused on the project I had worked on. After this final round, I received no updates for about a week. HR followed up saying they were still waiting on feedback.
After almost a month of waiting and several calls to HR, I was informed that I did not get the role.
It was disappointing to be initially congratulated and then rejected.

Entrevista
It went great. The interviewer explained the whole Capgemini Group and its job. We had about 20 minutes of presentation, and then we went to technical questions & live coding. This lasted for about an hour.
Applied via online portal, received interview link for 3+ years Java Developer role. Process included technical screening, coding rounds on Java/Spring, system design, managerial discussion, and HR round covering fit and salary, leading to final offer and onboarding
First round is a background fit with HR, simple tell me about yourself. Second round is an OA, and last round was a take home assignment one has to present to some of the team members (2).
