There were two rounds of technical coding interviews over the phone. Followed up by a phone conversation with the hiring manager talking about my past job experience as a data scientist. They decided to bring me on-site afterwards for a full-day interview. During the on-site interview, they forgot to include an interview to test me on a specific data science aspect and ended up having to schedule another interview. It is very unprofessional for such a slip up. During the last coding interviewer, the interview just assumed i didn't have the technical experience for the job even though I have listed many years of experience. His attitude was condescending and borderline discriminatory for a minority like me. For a lot of questions about data science project experience, there are no clear cut answers so I tell him my approach. What people do all depends on the situation but the interviewer wanted a clear cut answer.
