      Entrevista

      I completed a writing sample and then had a phone interview. I read the only review on Glassdoor for this position and thought that it was just a negative experience. However, I experienced the same situation. The interviewer was HORRIBLE, he seemed very uninterested from the start and also called a few mins late. He sounded very scripted and did not try to engage with me at all. I sensed that he was not going to move me forward for the next steps even though I'm qualified for the role. I was genuinely excited to interview for Square but after that experience I'm glad I will not be working for a company with negative people. It takes a talented recruiter/hiring manager to eye a talented candidate. I just think that the interviewer is in the wrong job role.

We were extremely disappointed to read about your interview process — definitely not cool, and we're really sorry. We'll discuss your feedback with the team and interviewer immediately. We will work to make sure that future interviewers are trained on interviewing and understand proper etiquette.       Entrevista

      Only made it through the writing sample and phone interview process. Although I felt like I answered the interviewer's questions well I knew I had little chance of moving forward. The interviewer seemed extremely uninterested in what I had to say. The call was nearly ten minutes late, felt very rushed, and the interviewer couldn't even be bothered to properly reference one of my previous employers. The interviewer could not get off the phone fast enough.
