The interview process and procedure were clear. Prior to the meeting they explained what is going to happen, which gives the interviewee an opportunity to properly prepare for the interview. I had the chance to meet with one of the co-founders as well as the VP of the Data-Science. The questions, both technical and non-technical, were reasonable and related to the advertised position. It was clear that the intention was to check if you were a match for the position. In some interviews you are asked some riddles totally un-related to the advertised position; this was not one of those type of interviews. They were explaining the question very well and in some-case providing some hints, which was helpful to understand their question; thus, answering them better. As much as I was an interviewee, I was the interviewer in that meeting. They clearly explained what their company is doing and if it happens that I start a position what would be expected of me in the first 100 days as well as longer term. At the end of the first round, they decided to go to the next round of the interview. However, Since, I was not yet ready to physically move to the Bay Area and the timing was not matching mine (among other personal reasons), I decided not to proceed. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
