applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at AstraZeneca. Behavioral questions were asked. It was a very corporate and routine interview but straight forward. They pretty much stuck to a script. I actually found it interesting and easy.
First part of the interview went quick. After I submitted my application I received a message from my recruiter about doing an interview with Hirevue, where you record yourself answering questions. After the video was submitted, it was about a day later I got a message from my “recruiter” to continue on with an hour interview from two hiring managers. They leave the beginning of the interview open to discuss your strengths, background etc and then they ask a 4 part series of behavioral questions. I felt the interview went great- they kept telling me they loved my responses. They told me the next part was going to be difficult because they wanted everyone to be patient while they did another week or so of interviews. I even got a email after the interview process was completed stating “they would let me know next steps once they gathered information from the hiring managers.” My issue is not the interviews, those went well. The issue comes from “the recruiter” and the lack of caring for closure. The recruiter sends vague scripted emails (probably just uses AI) but doesn’t reply back to you, although they recommend reaching out to the recruiters for questions. The ghosting of the candidates is not a good look and puts a terrible taste in my mouth on the company. A simple email to say whether or not you were moving forward would at least suffice given these candidates take up a big portion of their work day to do these interviews.

Es gab ein Telefongespräch mit dem Regionalleiter, darauffolgend einen Online-Call mit Aufgabenstellung mit dem Regionalleiter und dem Verkaufsleiter. Kurz nach dem Gespräch habe ich eine Zusage erhalten, dies würde an HR weitergehen für ein Angebot. Die Rückmeldung seitens HR hat 2 Wochen gedauert. Es sollte am nächsten Werktag von HR nochmal eine erneute Rückmeldung geben, was nicht erfolgt ist.
