They reached out to me via LinkedIn. The recruiter was very nice. The recruiter set up a phone screen and it went well. From there I was schedule to have a phone call with a person in the department I would be working with. She missed the call. The recruiter apologized and reschedule the call. The girl missed the second call! She called almost 30 minutes after the call was scheduled. She sounded very frazzled. I could tell she was overworked, unorganized and undervalued. She said she wanted me to speak with a higher level employee. The higher level employee took the call while walking next to the street in SF needless to say I could barely hear her from all the traffic.

I have been looking for positions that are fully remote, and came across their posting for a remote Executive Assistant Applied directly on website over the weekend, email from recruiter Monday morning and phone screen that week. I expressed preference for remote work option only (recruiter stated that the employee could choose), as well as desired salary. I'm wondering if the hiring manager had a preference for someone to work full time in the office, or my salary requirements were too high. I was supposed to hear back that Friday about next steps, but received no further communication.
