There was an assesment which was pretty tough but I had prepared well and cleared the assesment. Following up with it was technical round of discussion . I had prepared well as per S.T.A.R module of prep but hardly any principals were applied the technical recruiter. The principals stick only on paper in realty it is biased regional hiring.

Entrevista
Series of technical questions related to general computer science questions. Less focus on how I actually solved problems and more focus on the underlying concepts. The team was definitely looking for candidates with recent formal education in computer science rather than in-the-trenches experience. I didn't really get a chance to highlight my real world experience. I understand why AWS would seek that kind of candidate, but that's not me.
