I was invited via email to apply for amazon web services (AWS).
I did the technical interview but It wasn't successful ( due to not being prepared). I would say the entire process was good and the recruiter was super friendly (she even postponed my assessment once)

A technical person will assign you one or two take-home assessments to complete before moving on to the next round of interviews. however, some writing tests occur right before or during the final onsite or virtual loop.
