The AWS recruitment process is structured, competency‑focused, and designed to assess both role‑specific skills and Amazon Leadership Principles (LPs). It typically moves through resume screening, phone/virtual screens, technical assessments (when applicable), and an on‑site or virtual loop interview culminating in a hiring decision and compensation discussion. Timelines vary by role and location but generally span 3–8 weeks for mid‑level roles and longer for senior/technical leadership positions.

The questions focused on basic cloud concepts, networking, troubleshooting scenarios, and customer-focused situations. The interviewers were friendly and explained the next steps clearly. Overall, the process was fair and gave a good sense of what the Cloud Support Engineer role involves.

It was a good process, from the start everyone very friendly and all transparent. It's a long process in which a lot of interviews are taken, so if you're going to take a process with Amazon, you have to be aware of that.
