Entrevista
I recently had the opportunity to interview at Amazon for intern position, and it turned out to be a fairly relaxed experience. The interview was straightforward and focused primarily on two coding questions. The environment felt friendly, and the interviewer made an effort to put me at ease throughout the session.
The coding questions tested fundamental problem-solving skills and a good understanding of data structures and algorithms. They were manageable with some preparation and weren’t overly tricky. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I appreciated the supportive atmosphere during the interview process.

During my Amazon interview, I was asked two coding questions that focused on specific topics: Dynamic Programming (DP) and Bit Manipulation. These were the primary areas of emphasis. The DP problem tested my ability to approach problems systematically, breaking them into smaller subproblems and optimizing solutions. The bit manipulation question, on the other hand, assessed my understanding of binary operations and how to use them effectively for solving problems.
It was a great experience, and the focus on these topics highlighted their importance in building efficient and scalable solutions.

Had one virtual interview with an engineer. Prior to that, there was a online assessment with a leadership assessment (behavioral). Process was smooth. Heard back within reasonable time (1-2 weeks).

First there was an online assesment and two rounds of tech interview where each round had 2 dsa problems which were lc medium and some behavioral questions and project related question.
The interview process was straightforward and friendly. It started with a recruiter screening, followed by a technical interview. The interviewer asked basic coding questions, object-oriented programming concepts, and a few behavioral questions based on Amazon Leadership Principles. The coding problems were not very difficult, and the interviewer was willing to provide hints when needed. Overall, the experience was positive and well organized.
