Life on Campus: Tour de Dyson Since 2015, Dyson people have chosen to support Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK), raising £530,000 to date for the charity through a variety of fundraising challenges. One of those challenges is the annual Tour de Dyson, where Dyson cyclists take on extreme road and gravel routes peddling from our Wiltshire campus to as far as Wales. And this year’s cycle was a major milestone, as the team geared up to pass the £100,000 mark raised for ARUK since the Tour de Dyson began nine years ago. Did they meet the target? Hear from Tour de Dyson founder, James Nelson, as he and a hundred other Dyson cyclists hit the road... #InsideDyson #LifeOnCampus
Inside and out, we work in spaces designed to inspire. Our UK R&D campuses are home to 3,500 Dyson people working in labs, studios and offices. Outside, our campus gardeners work tirelessly throughout the year to maintain our vibrant green spaces, which are alive with a wide variety of flora and fauna – as well as grow-your-own veg patches. Across 700 acres of green spaces, we have 13 ponds, 100 flower beds, 1.5km of nature trails and 40 acres of ancient woodland. James Fenning founded the Dyson Campus Gardening club so Dyson People can grow their own fruit, veg, and flowers on campus, and its popularity is growing… so we went digging to find out more. #InsideDyson #LifeOnCampus
Dyson's beekeeping club have harvested their first honey of the season from our Campus hives. We speak to Dyson Institute graduate Theo Jones, to find out what the buzz is about. Alongside the thousands of bees, Dyson’s UK campuses act as the hive for 3,500 Dyson people. Our campus is enriched by the range of clubs and societies Dyson people set up and run: from cycling, to gardening, the list goes on. #InsideDyson #LifeOnCampus
From Dyson Farm to Dyson Fork. We hear from our Global Head Chef, Joe Croan, who gives us a flavour of Dyson’s food culture across our Malmesbury and Hullavington campus. Food is an important part of our campus life. From the free lunches prepared using locally grown produce, to grow-your-own allotments and cookery lessons for Dyson people, there’s plenty to get your teeth into! #InsideDyson #LifeOnCampus
