First of All want to say that Shell is a big blue whale but when it comes to Shell SBO Bangalore its not that great work environment. There is no Proper direction from leadership.Basically Shell IT bangalore is a startup.They are knocking off people onsite and hiring people offshore.Hence KT also becomes challenge.Attrition is high.Hike is less since oil prices are low. This years BPF was 1.15 & IPF was average 0.7 Variable pay=33 % of base pay *1.15*0.7 Tips if you are on verge of accepting offer from Shell Shell will offer the best pay in the market so ensure you extract it to the fullest there is concept called Position in Range called as PIR,so you need to ask HR that give offer at 100 % PIR which they can easily give ( this is inside info) ,100% PIR is the maximum budget of the position. there are 9 Job grades JG1 is highest and JG9 lowest. If you are more than 8 yrs ensure that you are hired at JG4. recruitment consultancy puts your profile against JG5 grade. Shell give relocation allowance of 360K at JG4,80K at JG5. Below are figures that I knew while leaving At JG4 highest salary is 30 Lacs at JG3 (15 yrs exp) salry is 40 -50 lacs
Desventajas
I left Shell because of my manager (she was pathetic) ,money( I was not given what I deserved )& Work Environment. There is no Role Clarity.You will not get the tasks according to your role If you are hired as PM , you just need to co-ordinate with vendors because they will drive the project. you will be just a mere gatekeeper. So if you dont wanna work and do timepass then its cool otherwise it would be frustrating IF you are hired as BA then you will never get to write requirements coz there are no requirements, BA just do UAT and become a co-ordinator.when youu join you will be either in Business Readiness or UAT. If you are hired as architect then they will give you to job to raise tickets in some ticketing system. All the above things are true facts which you can verify. HR is just a puppet,they dont care at all. Only join shell if you like to not work and just blabber on calls. there are only calls whole day. No WFH Basically Shell is a great organization which needs a good leader in SBO banagalore who has experience of building an IT center. Currently there is no leadership.
