Doesn't matter how good you are at what you do, you are not appreciated if you don't butter the boss. The boss's boss needs a hell lotta butter. If you're not among the top picks of boss, irrespective of you're performence, every minute of your time is counted and graded, you were 2 minutes late from lunch, you took 5 minutes extra on your small break . If you've understood the process and think of something that can make it better, you have no chance of being heard as unanimously across the organisation you are considered a dumb Guinea pig, that's knows nothing. Only the senior management can come up with ideas and you're not worthy of doing anything other than what you're told.
