Ventajas
I tried to pin this down, but it really is very difficult to do. I have been with Insight Global for 5 years. This is my first job out of college, and I truly hope to retire with this company. The opportunity to make a lot of money I have to say is one of the best parts. Check out the salary figures for each year someone is with IGI, and they are very true numbers. The sales contest is another one of my favorite parts of being with Insight Global. Top sales people are greatly rewarded for having good sales years. Most Account Managers hit this contest after their first full year in sales. This will be my 4th contest to win, and each year I get a bonus, company stock, and an all-expense paid trip to Cancun or the Bahamas as a result of my hard work. Another one of my favorite things about IGI is hands-down the quality of people that work here. I have worked in 3 offices, and I have made some of my best friends for life. It feels like being in a fraternity. We all go to happy hours, go out on the weekends, and we genuinely enjoy hanging out together. On a work note, everyone is very hard-working and has an extreme sense of urgency to make sure that contractors and managers are taken care of.
Desventajas
As much as I love what I do, I can say that I don't think this job is for everyone. It is not easy street, and success is not just given to people. You do have to work hard, take feedback, and be held accountable on a daily basis. If you know that you are willing to put in this effort, then you will be rewarded ten-fold. I feel very lucky to be a part of such an amazing company that is growing and breaking records, all while holding ourselves to very high standards, on a constant basis.
