I would have appreciated it more if I had been informed of the context of each step, for example: First Interview | Interviewer Position and Name Technical Questions Demo Second Interview | Interviewer Position and Name Behavioral Questions Competency-Based Questions Third and Final Interview | Interviewer Position and Name Personal Questions Background Questions Although the "surprise" type of questions may be a good gauge of how a candidate will handle unprecedented situations or questions. Perhaps that was the essence of why the process was designed that way. All in all it was a pleasant and challenging experience.
