Entrevista
The interview process involved double to triple the amount of work compared to applying for other startup tech sales jobs. The first round is a phone interview, then this is followed up by a take home project where you have to learn about a product and do a mock sales pitch on it. To adequately prep for the take home project, you’ll spend 5-7 hours in preparation for a 30 minute mock presentation. Discovery questions are important here. If you pass that, you move on to a 3-hour long session of interviews with various people at the company.
The interviews reveal a company with a good product but a sales team without proven leadership. People seem to be in managerial positions because of tenure rather than managerial prowess, and I didn’t come across who mentioned having strong management track records.
When asked about how salespeople are developed, all employees gave vague answers about giving feedback to each other and trying to socialize the best sales approach, but mostly seemed disinterested in training and coaching. They seem to be winging it when it comes to skill development, so I wouldn’t expect to receive any serious coaching here- you’ll basically just leverage the skills you already have and adapt them to these particular products.

Initially a lot of questions about average deal size, quotas, hitting numbers, etc.
They also asked a lot of questions about how I manage my day and keep track of various short term and long term tasks and/or sales cycles. They seemed to value organizational skills.

Entrevista
Phone screen followed by two 1 on 1 interviews with Manager and VP of Sales. After that a technical case study that lasts roughly 30 minutes to assess your comfort selling. Followed by superday Zoom interview with roughly 7 interviews. Thorough but fair process, everyone is sharp and asks good questions.

Entrevista
There are a few rounds in the process. It started with a phone interview followed by a role play session/case study which was a discovery call with a potential client. They give you all of the necessary information to prepare but it was a touch out of date so don’t be afraid to ask questions. After the role play round there was a super day of 4 -5 interviews with different teams.
