Application was tedious and had to watch multiple videos. Recruiter reached out and asked me to submit a questionnaire (9 questions - extremely tedious and repetitive) and submit availability for interview. Also had to watch another video where they said I would have to come up with "Top Priorities to be completed during the first six months". Other similar job postings at Xplore have this listed except the satellite system engineer. Didn't hear anything for an interview and eventually sent a follow up email. They responded that day and set up an interview for the next day. I didn't immediately confirm (email was sent in the late evening) and the recruiter texted me at 2:30AM asking me to confirm. Had an interview with an employee who had been there 3 months. He seemed hung up on his last job which he got fired from and was very unprofessional. The words he used to describe the company were "alarming" (2x), "stagnation", "loss of engineering leadership". Felt like he did most of the talking and did not ask me relevant questions. At the end of the interview, he said a coworker would reach out to me for the next interview and then I was rejected.
Overall seems like they're asking candidates to put in significant effort and help them out (listing top priorities) before giving an offer.
