A national recruitment campaign run by Randstad NZ is certainly a busy task. They ran a very generic advertisement...have you ever thought about working in H&S etc. Felt they attracted more applicants than they could manage. Applied for South Island, which seemed to be parked while they focused on the North Island recruitment.
A couple of time-critical online assessments involved, good practice if you're looking at new roles but nothing that any middle manager wouldn't pass, without knowing anything about H&S.
I was impressed when I submitted stage one on Friday night and got a response 6pm ~Sunday but that was the highlight of the process. The 2nd test was submitted midweek with the promise of results that Friday, eventually was pushed out 5 days late.
My "Virtual" interviewer (working from home?) was ill-prepared and distracted. The interview was not perfect on my part but certainly strong enough to progress I thought. I have the industry experience asked for and presented a solid CV. Again had to wait longer than promised (3 weeks) for a result which was a bit stressful and not particularly professional.
