I interviewed at Walmart Canada for a Self Checkout Host/ Cashier role.
I was asked to be present at the store and there will be a group discussion.
- The Assistant Manager (hiring manager) will ask all of the group members to introduce themselves.
- It helps if you know someone who is currently working over there.
- There will be a role-play exercise. A page with prompts/information regarding the Walmart Rewards MasterCard will be there.
- Decent communication skill, and enthusiasm will be helpful.

Pretty straightforward, go through activities as a group and basic introduction with a department manager. As well there is a walk through of the store, as well as the back and going through safety procedures.

Simple asked a few questions and was done. Interview was very short lasted 5 to 10 minutes. Great experience for sure! Managers were very welcoming and after I completed the interview a was given an answer within one to two days.
It went quick and easy. The interview was personal and very nice to talk to made answering questions easier.the interview maybe lasted about 15-20 minutes long and we went into great detail about previous roles.
