Since I was already a highly regarded motivated employee (Grocery Stock) my interview for Asset Protection was just a formality. I was approached on the floor by the Asset Protection Manager and asked if I was infested, followed by her bringing me into the office and describing the job to me. She then asked if I had any questions and said I would start as soon as the background check was complete.
As a stocker: the interview was simple. sat in HR with about 6 others. I was the only one dressed nicely (business casual - khakis/button up/CLEAN shoes/well groomed). We watched a video and waited for a department manager to bring us one by one to another room and ask some basic questions. they rate you on a scale (maybe 1-5?) for each answer you give. then you go back to HR and generally start signing employment paperwork. Back then I had a urine test (I've heard they don't anymore for hourly) and started the next day. Its hard to not be hired once you've been interviewed at that level. Walmart is efficiency based and it isn't worth lost hour of wages they have to pay the interviewer just to not hire an entry level employee.

The interview process was thorough, personable, and very beneficial. A lot of questions were asked and my interviewed allowed me to ask questions to ensure the right fit. Lasted about 1 hour.

I arrived to my interview 15 minutes before and it took about 25-30 minutes. Interview was only 4 questions. Make sure you use the STAR method and should have no problem during the interview process.

1 round interview , basic questions about experience and testing the communication skills. make resume relevant to the keywords in the JD, no background verification required. most probably they hire and retain it for a longer period of time.
