Put in for position and received an email for phone interview. The phone interview lasts about an hour and you are asked to tell a bit about yourself. The questions asked require you to give an example of a situation, with a resolution using the STAR method (Situation,Task,Action you took, and Result). They use questions from the competencies such as judgment, customer centered, execution and results, planning and improvement, influence and communicate, ethics and compliance, adaptability, and talent. One question was describe a business change HR process that you played a major role in. Describe an important law situation that required your immediate attention and action. Didn't get a second interview due to other candidates had doctorate degree and I had only a Masters.
