I applied for a role in Change Management as an analyst. From applying on the website, I received a call about three weeks later from the HR department asking about my experience and general talk. I was then advised that my CV would be handed over to the Hiring Manager for a review and they would be in contact. I was then emailed about a week later about a face-to-face interview, which I attended the following day at short notice. The interviewers were fine and was very relaxed. Just the basic competency based questions. After the interview I met with HR and also had a brief formal discussion about how the interview went etc. They advised me they had 4 other candidates to interview who were all internal and I would get a response in around a week. I chased a couple of weeks later by phone and email. I received a response stating that there hasn't been an update. I proceeded to phone and email, but then received a response advising me to phone them the next day to which by this point, I'd had enough and didnt follow up. The HR department still haven't made an effort to contact me and I don't presume they will. Completely put me off of applying for any roles there again.
