The interview process was extremely slow from the start. Applied and about a week later, call with HR. Then it was over a week before the next interview with the manager. After that it was over another week with an interview with another manager. In both interviews, it was stated they needed someone asap for this role, I was happy because that’s what I was looking for, but was continuously stalled. At this point it was almost a month since the start. Was told that I’d be going through the next phase but would again be delayed with people out of office. No problem, but almost another month goes by of radio silence and after multiple attempts of communication for an update, was finally told that they went with another candidate. This is probably the 3rd time this exact scenario has happened over the course of 3-4years for various different roles. I’d prefer to be told upfront that you’re no longer being considered than to be ghosted and be on a the ledge of moving on to the next round or not at all.
