I initially interviewed to a company that was bought by VMware so the process is probably different. I had a three stage interview: The first was with the HR represent then with the inside sales team manager and finally a phone interview with the head of sales. All interviews were friendly and focused on human skills more then technical skills as it was an entry job.

I applied online and a recruiter contacted me to schedule a phone screen. Upon receiving great feedback and plans to move forward to next steps the recruiter went dark. I politely followed up via email asking for feedback but never heard back.

I did two interviews already, and they let me know that there were probably at a minimum two more interviews to go including one onsite. This seems like a LOT of interviews and with so many interviews just to get the job I am really worried about just how many layers of bureaucracy this place is going to have.
