Interview process is too long, takes minimum of 7 days to communicate the result. They don't consider external candidates, either we should be contract employee or we should have high level referrence to attend the interview. Not sure what is the judgement criteria, candidates will be rejected soon. They don't value candidates designation or experience. They always offer lower designation than the current one. Hope it's Vmware habit to post job opening in linkedin and other social site and don't really short list outsider. Team lead and above opening for finance / sales process is very less, please go through candidate profile and acheivements completely before rejecting the candidates.

One of the worst I have ever had. They made me interview with many people back to back over a 2 week span and then total silence forever. I never even received a note that I didn't get the job. Ghosting is not acceptable from any company, especially one as big as Vmware.

It was very smooth and the HR made sure that the timing was as per my convenience. The hiring managers also acknowledged my request for an extended date to join as I wanted a 2 week gap before i joined. If you negotiate well then you may also get a good packed.
