1st Round: Telephonic - Focused on Basic Problem Solving, JS Basics Called for Onsite Interview after 3 days 2nd Round: Basic Data Structures, Problem Solving, HLD of an UI App, Charting frameworks 3rd Round: HLD/LLD of an UI app, Basic Problem Solving , DS Algo, Ext JS and AngularJS related questions, 4th Round: Threading concepts, UI Optimizations techniques. Design a monitoring tool. Interviewers were fantastic people to converse with. It took nearly 6-7 hours. Asked to leave for Home 2 days later got a call from HR that I have been selected. Next Day HR interview over phone. HR communicated a rough idea about Compensation and other details. 2 Days later again got a call saying one Director round is pending. It was supposed to be of 30 min discussion. So came next day to the VMware office. 5th Round: HLD and LLD of a a UI application. Some Random questions from Java Server Side, JSP and JavaScript. Interviewer seemed to be very less familiar with UI Dev. But the person tried to ask as many questions as possible. However most of the time he was busy with his mobile, seeing jokes and laughing while I was discussing. 6th Round: Funny Round. Interviewer came with a laptop. Asked some random CSS and HTML concepts and matched my answers from answer given in his laptop. He asked questions like which CSS properties you know and their usage, define function closure, define function prototyping. He was expecting some English definition which was available in that webpage. Seemed not too interested with examples. Just wanted the correct definitions. If the answer didn't matched he would say "You are wrong [Full Stop]" This round seemed like a college viva. The interviewer was of same experience as me. 7th Round: One R&D Director discussed about the project, etc. Asked to leave for home. Again it nearly took 6 hours. This was communicated as 30 minutes discussion by the HR. I don't think its a right team to join. Will decline the offer [If I am selected].
