I had a 30min meeting with HR, then 30min meeting with the hiring manager and after that they vanished into thin air. I wrote them back to follow up and never even respond to me.

I rarely write any reviews on this site, but I felt the need to share the terrible experience I had with this interview. First of all, there were about 6 rounds of interviews, combining portfolio reviews (that needed to be in an specific format), technical interviews with engineers, PMs, researchers and more. That in itself demanded a lot of time and effort. After reaching the final stage I was requested to do a follow-up interview to "show more details" about my work (which included showing my working file to see how it was structured). After all of these, I got fully ghosted by them. Not even an automatic email saying they decided to not move forward. Highly unprofessional behavior. it even makes me wonder if they were just farming ideas for their projects (as they have shown a lot of interest in my case studies). For the HR team: try to be mindful of other people's times.
