      The best recruiting experience I have ever had in my professional career. My recruiter Christina Borders, was truly amazing, she was committed to making sure I get the best experience. She did constant follow ups and kept me well informed at every stage during interview process. She was extremely knowledgeable in data tech space and knew exactly what role demanded and shared lots of material to help me understand team, role and company in detail. The process started with her reaching out to me with multiple follow ups and finally when we both agreed that this role could be a best fit for my next career move, I got engaged in the interview process which went very smooth, I was well informed after every stage in the process. I first met with hiring manager on cultural and technology fit. Next with the group of stakeholders, peers and team and everyone was very kind and humble. It dint feel like an interview but great discussions on data challenges, solutions and how my skills can help Unity. Everyone including interview panel, hiring manager, interview co-ordinator, recruiter were wonderful to work with and they all had lots of great things to talk about unity, like their journey, why they chose this company and what future looks like. After technical interview rounds, recruiter asked for references from previous companies 2 manager and 1 peer after successful completion of reference checks she discussed offer verbally and worked hard to make sure it’s the best offer for my position. After I signed the offer, there is a background check done by 3rd party company that validates credit history, criminal records, employment history. Entire process was very smooth and best recruiting experience for me so far. Thanks to unity team for such a wonderful experience. I accepted the offer and joined the team and had an amazing onboarding and work experience so far.

      I went through a four-stage interview process that lasted about a month. It began with an initial screening by HR, followed by an interview with the hiring manager, and then separate conversations with other team members. Overall, the process was well-structured and gave good visibility into the role and team dynamics. Most of the questions focused on soft skills—such as communication, stakeholder management, and how I approach collaboration and problem-solving—rather than technical or role-specific scenarios.

      I was referred to this position by a Unity employee. This environment does not reflect an inclusive and diverse community. I felt my "young" age as a manager was held against me and confirmed by the interview inquiries and final decision. This does not reflect Unity's equal opportunity employer standard. One interviewer inquired if I spoke German: not listed as a job requirement. That same interviewer asked about my age, stating I looked young. I was then told by HR for the hiring decision: "The team was looking for a more senior person to manage this senior team." Finally, one interviewer actively had COVID-19 and still interviewed me. They cut the interview short to under 14 minutes because of their illness and refused to reschedule. 1st - HR Screening Zoom 2nd - Hiring Manager 30-minute Zoom 3rd - XFN team members Panel Interviews (4 x 30-45min) 4th - HR Interview E-mail Scheduling Feedback Zoom 5th - HR Decision on Zoom can be pass/fail

      Applied online and quickly heard back about a first round screen. Talked with the recruiter for about 30 minutes and really enjoyed our conversation. She got a much better idea of my experience, what I’m looking for, and explained the role that she was looking to hire for.
