I interview by video, then by HR, then the hiring manager, his boss, then her boss all on the phone over the course of 1 month. Finally got a call to go into the office and interviewed with 8 more people. Recruiter told me my only obstacle was an internal candidate and that United prefers to go with internals but my qualifications were nothing but perfect for the role. Then I got a call that I didn't get the job!!! Feedback was that I was "awesome" but they had to go with an internal candidate. The recruiter told me to keep in touch and keep applying to United jobs and to email him when I did so. Of course I followed his advice, but he has never responded to my follow up email and I have applied for many roles which I'm well qualified for and not so much as a call back. Very disappointed with this company. Can't help but feel like they wasted my time!
