I was first recommended by a jeweler with ties to Tiffany, then personally emailed them inquiring about the job I had been recommended for, then went through a phone interview, portfolio reviews, and ultimately was asked to show some designs I felt would fit their collection.

The screening process was very brief. The HR called and mainly asked about my earliest availability to start. Once they realized I had not yet graduated, the call ended quickly. It seemed they had not reviewed my resume carefully, which felt like a waste of time for both sides.
