It took a little less than 2 weeks from having the initial recruiter screen to the receipt of the job offer. The recruiter was friendly and helpful, taking the time to guide me through the process. She was super quick in getting back to me about the next steps. Following the recruiter screen, there were 3 interviews mostly gauging my past experience, soft skills and team vibes. The tech interview question was solving a practical real-world problem, which was easy for a hands-on software developer who has had experience with large scale projects. All the people I had interacted with so far were smart and down to earth. They were patient and all appeared to care about my success. The efficiency and professionalism they showed me during the process were the reasons why I decided to accept the job offer.

Was initially approached by a recruiter via LinkedIn. He did an initial prescreen to find out the general areas of interest in technology and project wise then forwarded the resume to the team. This was followed up by a technical interview with a manager over Google Hangouts. He gave a coding challenge to solve and observed the process. As I was coding up the solution, the guy intervened, tried to correct and provide input. All very disruptive, not letting to concentrate on the problem and the solution. I was put off by such immaturity.
