My experience with TEKsystems was mixed. The recruiters were communicative and professional, and I appreciated their efforts to connect me with opportunities. However, the hiring process placed a significant amount of emphasis on finding flaws or inconsistencies in a candidate’s background. Even minor issues or career setbacks seemed to be viewed negatively rather than as opportunities to understand the broader context of a candidate’s experience and growth. The process left me feeling that there was limited room for nuance or discussion around past challenges, despite having relevant skills and exceptional accomplishments. I would encourage a more balanced approach that considers a candidate’s overall track record, achievements, and potential rather than focusing heavily on isolated missteps. That does not mean they can't succeed. Failure is part of a journey sometimes. Most successful people run into it once in their life.
