I went there through on recruiting agency. They told me that there will be ony two rounds with them , one tech and one HR. After that there may or may not be client interview round. The tech round was pretty easy, went for like 30 mins. Most of the questions were related to objective C. They asked in detail about coredata, multithreading , autolayout etc. HR round was formality, i don't even know why the have kept it if they were not willing to discuss. In Hr round I was asked about my current company and expected CTC. At that time I asked for 8.5 LPA as I have 4.5 yrs of experience (sounds fair right?). Here the HR told she was fine with the amount. Then they told I have cleared both round, I filled a long booklet kind of things for their company including my all professional details. Later on I was told that I have cleared the process and HR will contact me. One week later HR from chennai calls me to ask my salary again, and refuses to offer more than 6.5 - 7 LPA, my current was 4.5.
I asked them to send the brekup and I am fine. He told all the components over phone, inhand salary, basic, flexible etc etc, but then I never received a call again ..
So much of my time wasted and still did not release the offer. I called the recruiter who sent my profile, she told they have filled the position with other candidate, even though agreed to their salary......
HR team should respect one's time and understand that if they cant offer that muchm they should remove the candidate from probables before inititating the process. Here one HR agreed then other refused and still when I agreed to their amount, they did not release any offer.
