Solicité el puesto a través de un captador. Acudí a una entrevista en SkillStorm (Saint Louis, MO) en jun 2021
Entrevista
The interview process consisted of generic, by the book questions pertaining to Object Oriented Programming. I demonstrated an understanding, but the interviewer appeared to be listening for specific keywords. At the end of the interview, I asked if travel was a possibility, and they responded that they were only hiring for one out of state location. I'd had 2 interviews with them before this one, and this was the first I'd heard of this.
I spent a lot of time preparing. If they were up front, I would have never wasted all of that time. I said relocation was out of the question.
The next day, I get a call from their HR saying I didn't pass the interview because I was fidgeting, and I didn't grasp the concepts, and that it would take too much time to get me to speed.
I just finished an intense Java training program. I grasp the concepts, though I might not have used the keywords the interviewer was given to listen for. It really seemed like he was the one who didn't really understand.
Quick online interview with some questions about programming. Any fresh grad should be able to answer easily. Practice OOP questions and maybe leetcode easy.
Basic phone Screaning aswell by recruiter.
