Our course year group was sent an email about a junior internship opportunity in the Netherlands with Shell. I applied online, went through online screening tests, then phone interview. I interviewed with an HR person from Germany who normally dealt with graduate programs/assessed internship for Eastern Europe (she originally thought I was interviewing for an assessed internship). The interview consisted of standard 'scripted' questions and an unscripted part where I was able to ask questions about Shell.

Self video screening interview and then only the select candidates move forward with actual interview. It seems very few are filtered through AI filtering. They tell you if you aren't selected within few days.
The first round is a general screening with two components. the first is multiple choice where you are put in plausible situations at work regarding following guidelines. Then there is a personality quiz, and finally 3 prerecorded interview questions with unlimited attempts

They first took an assesment of my behavioural compatability and other such information, technical round is usually conducted later after the above assesment to see if you can fit in the company culture
