Entrevista
The interview is very thorough and a multi-step process. From a phone interview, in-person interview, manager interview, ride-along and then a final interview, it can seem overwhelming. However, it made me love the company, they wanted to know who I was and wanted to make sure I was a fit for the company and the role. They had to invest as much time and energy into it as I did, so they know that this process works!

The interview process can be quite lengthy depending upon your availability this is true. I was on the fence about the length when I was going through it but I really do appreciate the process now. With most companies you have one or two steps in the hiring process depending on the position and you don't get a real sense of the company and its people. With SEI's process you get to know the company, the values, and the people so there is no doubt what you are signing up for, and SEI can be sure they are bringing in someone who will help better the company and fit the culture. If I ever interviewed anywhere else I would want the process to be similar to what SEI's process is.

One question that caught me off guard was they asked me how much money I wanted to eventually make. This may seem off-putting or a trick question, but SEI is all about helping their employees achieve their goals and financially is one of the ways they do that. This question also is indicative of the ambition you have. If you are just okay with being a B or C player, then SEI is not the place for you.
