Entrevista
Interview process is lethargic and outdated.
Day 1: Got a call from recruiter after a week since applying in portal.
Day 4: First round of recruiter screening
Day 15: First round of technical interview by senior architect - professionally done.
Took a email and couple of calls for HR to respond on the status.
Day 28: Second round of interview - Technical in depth by hiring manager and senior architect.
Day 31 : Panel presentation - Hiring manager and senior architect took this for 1.5 hours (originally scheduled for 1 hour) and asked to give another take on the technical demo.
Day 45: Round 2 of panel presentation - Again in depth demo and checks for 1.5 hours.
Ghosting by recruiter, upon calls she says it was very positive presentations and demo.
Day 63: I see the status as No longer in consideration in portal.
Interview was done for Mulesoft Technical architect.
Although I do not have mulesoft background, they gave the tips and feedbacks to proceed. I had put a month long effort to grasp as much as possible and gave a professional demo. All interviews went well, but seems they wanted ages of experience in Mulesoft tool in the end.
Please do not apply if you are not an expert in Mulesoft.
I was half hearted to proceed after first demo, hiring manager was indecisive.
Some of the recruiters were good but ghosting happens once interviews are over.

A panel interview, had to present on running a project as a Technical Architect given a particular Salesforce use case. Panel had seasoned Salesforce Architects and had a good mix of functional and technical questions.

First round was fairly technical - interviewer covered more topics, so more breadth than depth I would say.
Second round was deep technical - was asked a lot of questions around JWT token and OAuth architecture. Also event driven integrations and asynchronous apex. You have to know your technical stuff to clear this round.
Third round is hiring manager round - which is face-to-face. Hiring manager asks more of project experience and different stakeholder management. Also can ask technical questions.

Highly unprofessional interviewer. I wonder if they even have a process to ensure that the people who are taking technical interviews have any interview etiquettes. Specially when interviewing senior level candidates and that too considering Salesforce is a large company.
Where do I start. Phew.
1: The interviewer arrived late. Did not turn on his camera, Did not introduce himself and directly started reading out some stuff from my resume. So no intro's at all.
2: He was not sure if it's the R1 or R2 interview.
3: While answering technical questions, the interviewer interrupted at every single line. Absolutely annoying. Wonder how these people talk to clients / stakeholders.
4: He even went on the the extend of questioning me about my certification and how I did not remember a certain thing.
5: When I mentioned about a large client that uses SF product. He went on to criticize the client as well as to how they are doing their own stuff. Mind it, this client is the largest client of salesforce in commerce cloud and has the highest billing.
Absolutely negative experience. I am not sure why I even continued with the interview when at the very first question, I sensed lack of professionalism.
Recruitment team and the management should look into this aspect. I am suspecting some Bias with respect to hiring.
