Talked to a good representative sample of senior engineering leaders and manager across the team. All interviews were remote; I took several of them from one of the SFDC office buildings via video conference. Didn't affect the quality of the experience, in fact it felt more relaxed as a result. All interviewers were very well prepared and yet made it feel like a mutual interview, more conversational vs. an interrogation. Overall very pleased with the process.

The interviews consisted of 1 - 1hr phone interview, 3 - 1 hr video chat interviews, and a 1/2 day in office interview with 4 people. The process was long but thorough. I enjoyed the process because the people I interviewed with were very intelligent and made me want to work there.

The architectural interviews were mostly focused on if I still was technical or if I'd completely lost touch with what's going on on the front line. There were questions about testing, testing boundaries, testing ideology, and practices. As well as questions regarding architecture for designing a single system to manage all the elevators in the city. It was very open ended. I enjoyed brain storming around the concept.
Management questions focused on past experience handling, planning, & prioritizing work, encouraging staff, and coaching. We discussed major overhauls of systems into new systems. And also, how to grow a current feature into its next phase. Also, how to plan that out.

Very well organized. the recruiting team went out of their way to make sure that the interview process was smooth. they handled differences in time zone beatifully. Constantly checked in with me throughout the process. The team members were very friendly and kept the conversation flowing.
