Saw the posting in their weekly jobs newsletter email, got a response a few weeks later for an interview asking for a writing sample and setting up a time to meet online.
When I met with the interviewer, she only asked me a few logistical questions (when can I start) and then explained the job role and asked if this would be something I would like to do. She had read my writing sample and said it was the best one she received which made me feel really happy! Essentially ensured me that I would atleast get to the next round of interviews which would be with the SVP and kindly answered any of my logistical questions too, as well as gave me advice as to what kinds of things I should read up on. This took about 1.5 hours as it was mostly a chat rather than a formal interview.
I got into the next round, and met with with SVP. SVP asked me about my ambitions, my challenges, what my skills were and gave me a break down of the job. This was 15 minutes long.
I got a call a few days later from the first interviewer and got the job!
